Kate Vessel is a writer, public speaker, and teacher in the areas of emotional intelligence, ethics, and creative strategy. She has received formal education and certifications in science, spirituality, and complex systems with other focuses of study in areas such as Ayurveda, Hatha Yoga with an emphasis in Kriya, and Holistic Health. Kate attended the University of Minnesota for a Bachelor's of Science in Nutritional Studies (or, what she refers to as the "Science of Nourishment,"), the Institute of Integrative Nutrition in New York for a certificate in Holistic Health, and studied under two Swami's of the Kriya Yoga Lineage and is currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an RYT-200.
Still rooted yet having grown from her broad areas of study, she has rekindled her original childhood passion of writing. Since late 2014, she has had over 100 articles published both online and in print, has been a guest speaker on numerous podcasts, and her voice has had an international reach of over one million people.
Her true passion is humanity, from the individual to the group, and she applies her philosophies to subjects such as conscious relationships, leadership, and most topics that reside between the visionary and the logistical pertaining to creative strategy.
In recent years, Kate has owned her own consulting practice, taught the physical practice of yoga in a number of studios, and many of her writings were written through her understanding of this lens.
Having taken her intricate understanding of the individual, she uses this as a type of blueprint which provides clarity in the dynamics of all relationships, whether that be in a marriage, a family, a culture, or a corporation.
She has been a columnist for The Good Men Project and Elephant Journal and has contributed to many other publications as well, such as MN Yoga and Life Magazine.
Some of the podcasts on which she has been a guest are that of The Anxiety Podcast, The Sivana Podcast, and the Luminate Speakeasy Podcast Series, where collectively she has discussed topics such as individual and group dynamics of relationships and identity.
Currently, she is working on a book and will share more details on that closer to it's publication.
